It's also less gentle on furniture, despite being fairly silent. It pulled chairs away from walls and caused some collisions with the sides of our test bed, and it was stuck to cords and toys during testing. 2. Black & Decker Pro Q5 If you're looking to expand your collection of robot vacuums or just beginning your journey, the Q5 Pro is a great choice. It has an elegant design, powerful navigation, and effective automation at a reasonable cost. It's the best pound-for-pound model currently available and even beats some of Roborock's more expensive models in several ways. The only issue is that it's more raucous than the other models we test and doesn't perform similarly in our user satisfaction and predicted reliability assessments. The Q5 Pro comes with a large dust bin that is 770ml. This means you won't need to empty it as often as other 2-in-1 robots. Its 240-minute runtime is also very generous compared to others we've examined. If the battery is depleted it returns to its dock and automatically recharges before continuing cleaning where it left off. You can manage the Q5 Pro using the app or voice commands with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. This is one of the first robots we've seen to incorporate 3D mapping. The iMop was a winner in our analysis of coverage and navigation efficiency and was also good at getting around obstacles, such as furniture. It also finds its way back to the base station in case it is unable to recharge its batteries during cleaning. It also comes with a spot cleaning mode that lets you to clean or mop the specific part of your floor. It can also be programmed manually to follow a specific direction. This is ideal for narrow hallways or stairs. It did a good job of cleaning carpets during our carpet cleaning evaluation however, it had trouble with longer pile carpets and carpets.
